Terms and conditions

Please read the following terms u0026amp; conditions carefully. These terms u0026amp; conditions apply to anyone starting a course with “Funnystudying.com”. These terms and conditions are a contract between you (trainee) and Funnystudying.com.

All intellectual property rights, including copyright in all content and communication belongs to Funnystudying.com. By reading the Terms of Use you are agreeing that the content and property cannot be copied, reproduced, modified, stored, redistributed or exploited commercially in any way without permission from Funnystudying.com.

Our service provides General Russian, Conversational Russian, Business Russian and Exam Preparation Russian courses online, via the Internet through audio or/and video call. The courses consist of 50 minute long classes for individual students.

Booking Russian lessons

All lessons bookings must be agreed in advance with your teacher via e-mail at the following address: julia.funnystudying.com@gmail.com. Your teacher will confirm the date/dates and time of the lessons at least 24 hours in advance. You must confirm the date and time by answering the e-mail of your teacher at least 24 hours in advance.

Payment and fees

All fees and transactions are in Euros, unless otherwise agreed. All lessons must be paid in advance. You choose whether you pay 1 lesson or package. Lessons must be completed within 6 months from the date of the payment.

Important: by making the payment you accept this Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy of Learn Russian Online.

Russian lessons

You are required to be online and prepared for the lesson in the pre-agreed time.

You can cancel the lesson min 24 hours before. Otherwise the lesson will be charged.

Technical requirements

Before the first lesson you are required to properly install Skype on your computer. In order to be able to participate on our lessons, you have to create a Skype account and add our teacher to your contact list.

A broadband internet access is required to ensure the quality of the sound and the video. In case of slow internet connection (poor audio/video quality) our teacher may ask you to switch off the camera to achieve better audio quality.

Refund

If you decide to terminate your course and will not attend the rest of the pre-ordered and/or pre-paied lessons, no refund will be made by Russian  Online.

Credit card fees are non-refundable.

Cancellation and delay policy 

If you are unable to attend the lesson in the pre-agreed time you have to notify your teacher at least 24 hours before the scheduled time by e-mail. If you cancel the lesson with less than 24 hours notice or miss it, or failed to log-in within 15 minutes following the lesson start time, the lesson is to be considered as if it was completed.

The teacher reserves the right to terminate the lessons in case of force majeure and in any of the following cases:

  1. extremely bad audio quality
  2. disruption of the Internet services on any sides of the lesson

If extremely bad audio quality and/or disruption of the Internet services are on teacher’s side the lesson will be rescheduled. If extremely bad audio quality and/or disruption of the Internet services are on student’s side, you can reschedule only 30 minutes lesson.

In case of force majeure, if more than 30 minutes are completed, the whole lesson will be considered as completed.

In case you are late and you didn’t inform the teacher of the delay, the teacher will sign out of Skype/ after 15 minutes and charge you for the lesson.

Expiration date

If you buy a single lesson and/or a package of 5 or 10 lessons you must attend those lessons within six months from the date of purchase, otherwise you lose the right to complete them.

Exclusion of liability

Learn Russian Online with Funnystudying.com cannot be at any time held responsible for any damage caused by the performance or inadequacy of the services of any third party

(e.g.: the Internet, Skype)

FunnyStudying.com reserves the right to change any of these conditions at any time deemed necessary to reflect current market and economic conditions.

If the Client is unhappy with the teacher or any aspect of the teaching they must inform the Company immediately in writing. The Company cannot deal with issues or complaints retrospectively. The Company reserves the right to offer solutions to the issue such as speaking to the teacher about the problem, changing the teacher, offering the Client an alternative course or location.
